5th Annual Ringside: A Fight for Kids Benefiting the Charley Foundation Set for March 13, 2009

Keith Gale versus Adrian Michaels “Rumble on the Row” to raise additional funds via online donate-to-vote feature

NASHVILLE, TN – January 26, 2009 – The 5th Annual Ringside: A Fight for Kids has been set for March 13, 2009 at The Factory in Franklin. The event will benefit The Charley Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides support to charitable agencies addressing the critical needs of children. Nashville’s premiere charity boxing event, Ringside will feature a gourmet dinner, surprise musical performances and celebrity guests, a live auction and three professional boxing bouts.

The evening will also include a “Rumble on the Row” match-up pitting Keith Gale, vice president of national promotion at RCA Records against Adrian Michaels, vice president of promotion at Curb Records. In advance of the event, supporters can make an online donation at www.charleyfoundation.org to cast a vote predicting the match-up’s winner. Though Keith Gale currently has a slight lead, everyone wins in this friendly competition to raise funds for children’s charities.

Keith Gale stated, "Children are our future, and the Charley Foundation is dedicated to taking care of that future. I am honored to work with them on this wonderful annual event and am looking forward to a great evening of boxing and music.” He added, “My extremely confident opponent is telling everyone he encounters, whether or not he even knows them, that he will be knocking me out in our contest. My team and I are working very hard to see to it that does not happen. It will be a great show.”

Michaels responded, “I am excited and honored to be working with the Charley Foundation to make this event a success, and consider it a privilege to knock out Keith Gale for such a good cause.”

Ringside: A Fight for Kids will take place on Friday, March 13 at 6:30pm. Table sponsorships are available, as well as individual tickets at $250 each. Contact Carolyn Miller at (615)297-3099 or miller49@mac.com for details.
