RINGSIDE - A Fight For Kids ... a benefit for The Charley Foundation.

THE CHARLEY FOUNDATION:

The Charley Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises and distributes funds to qualified Nashville-area agencies that provide care and relief for children of abuse, neglect, chronic illness, and other critical need. Our mission is simple: to improve the quality of life of children with limited resources. The Charley Foundation also provides funding to non-profit agencies to help cover program or emergency expenses.

BENEFICIARIES:

All net proceeds from RINGSIDE will be distributed by the Charley Foundation to:

• The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Each year the Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Middle Tennessee grants between 80 and 100 wishes of children. Founded in 2000 to serve 33 counties in Middle Tennessee, this local Make-A-Wish chapter just recently granted its 500th wish to a local child .

• The Center for Couragous Kids will uplift children of Kentucky, Tennessee and the surrounding areas who have life-threatening illnesses by creating experiences year-round that are memorable, exciting, fun, build self-esteem, are physically safe and medically safe. The camp is scheduled to open 2008.

THE EVENT AND AUCTION:

Ringside - A Fight For Kids, will be a unique charity event never before seen in Nashville. Hosted by Warner Brothers recording artist Shannon Brown, this black-tie event will combine the spectacle and thrill of live professional boxing with elegant, fine dining, an exciting live auction, and a opportunity to be entertained by, and mingle with, some of Nashville's biggest music celebrities. The evening will begin with Round One - a VIP reception followed by a gourmet dinner and drinks. Round Two will include live entertainment from some of Nashville's brightest stars and Jason D. Williams, followed by a live auction of one-of-a-kind items. The Main Event will culminate the evening with three professional boxing bouts sanctioned by the Tennessee Boxing and Racing Program, including a special appearance by celebrity boxing trainer Angelo Dundee.
