Camp Charley Spooktacular Weekend in Scottsville, Kentucky
ITP Foundation Scholarship:
Center for Courageous Kids
Chronic ITP Family Weekend

October 9-11, 2009

The ITP Foundation was established to raise awareness of Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP). We provide support to children and adolescents with ITP, as well as their families, who might need financial assistance to manage and treat the disorder. In order to raise funds and the public’s awareness, The ITP Foundation plays an active role in social, educational, and sporting events on a local and national level.

The ITP Foundation is very pleased that the Center for Courageous Kids, a medical facility disguised as a children’s camp is sponsoring Camp Charley’s second annual Camp Charley Spooktacular Weekend, in Scottsville, Kentucky.

The Center for Courageous Kids provides a camping experience for seriously ill children, and the ITP Foundation is honored that this year’s Weekend is dedicated to children with ITP and their families.

While applications for approval to the ITP Family Weekend must be submitted directly to the Center for Courageous Kids, The ITP Foundation has established a scholarship fund to assist those families who can demonstrate financial need. The scholarship is limited and is to be used specifically for transportation costs to and from the camp.
