Newly-launched Soggy Dollar Rum is on board as presenting sponsor for the Hit Makers & Rum Chasers 25-city songwriters tour kicking off Tuesday, Jan. 29 at City Winery in Nashville. This new partnership further authenticates that "off the grid" island vibe to be evoked throughout the tour at venues featuring an intimate evening with hit songwriters. Tour proceeds will support music and arts initiatives for school children in the United States and US Virgin Islands.

HITMAKERS & RUMCHASERS KICKS OFF 25-CITY TOUR FOR A GREAT CAUSE

Hit Makers & Rum Chasers, a 25-city songwriters tour to benefit the Charley Foundation in support of music and arts initiatives for school children living in the United States and US Virgin Islands, kicks off Jan. 29 at City Winery in Nashville. An intimate and entertaining musical experience, the tour will feature Nashville songwriters performing their hits and sharing behind-the-scenes anecdotes about the music and the writing process in a setting which will evoke a feeling of being in the islands. Guests will enjoy Blue Chair Rum Bay cocktails, a silent auction, and an island-inspired dinner menu created by renowned USVI chefs.

First Two "Rumble on the Row" Bouts Announced for 15th Annual Ringside: A Fight for Kids at Liberty Hall in Franklin, March 1

The Charley Foundation, the Nashville-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which supports area children's charities, announced today the first two "Rumble on the Row" bouts scheduled for the 15th Annual Ringside: A Fight for Kids gala happening in Liberty Hall at The Factory in Franklin, TN, on Friday, March 1.

Radio's Scott Gaines (APD/MD PM Drive at Kicks 101-5 Atlanta) takes on Chris Waters (Director of Promotion, Pearl Records), and Adam Davis (Content Director, Sony Music Nashville) goes glove-to-glove with Alan Bullington (co-founder and CEO, MGC Sports).

Additional bouts will be announced in the coming weeks.
